Application for membership are very welcome. The Club has now simplified the procedure for joining. A person who is any of these:
a Liveryman or Freeman of the City of London
a member of a Ward Club in the City of London
a member of the Guild of Freemen
a member of the City Livery Club
a member of the Royal Society of St George City of London branch
should submit the membership form to the Secretary together with the consent form attached to the accompanying privacy statement.
You may be asked to meet a member of the Governing Body informally before we can confirm acceptance.
An applicant who does not meet any of these criteria is still very welcome to apply but should send a letter with their form outlining their direct or indirect interest in the civic, social or business affairs of the City of London. If they know any existing members of the Club who can might sponsor their application they should tell the Club about them as well.

The Annual Subscription is £45 payable in advance on the first day of January each year (candidates elected after 1 July in any year pay half the subscription for the remainder of the first year). Alternatively Life Membership may be taken by those over 60 years of age on payment of a fee of £500. There is an entrance fee of £20 for both Annual and Life Members.
