Events

The Club has an active programme of events. There’s typically something going on every month. Walks, talks, formal dinners, informal get-togethers, visits to places of special interest, charitable activities…there is something for everyone.

Here are some of our most recent events and some upcoming ones. Please come along and say hello! You will be made most welcome. Simply click on the event box to book.

Governance

The Club is run by its Governing Body. This is made up of our President, Vice Presidents, Officers and other elected members.

There is a separate committee for the elected Representatives of the Ward Clubs who are in Associate Membership of the club.

Our History

The City is divided into 25 Wards, or local government areas. Each Ward elects an Alderman every six years and several Common Councilmen every four years. They collectively form the 125 strong Common Council which runs The City.

Join Us

New members are always welcome. If you live or work in the City, or if you are a member of a Livery Company, a Freeman of the City of London, a member of a Ward Club or are simply interested in what London has to offer, we want to hear from you.
